TA017- QUETZAL FARM : Quetzals and Paramo
Duration: 8 hours

Located 11,000 feet above sea level, in the vicinity of San Isidro, Cerro de la Muerte is the highest point on the Pan-American Highway and has an area of tropical alpine vegetation (paramo) at the summit. You will have a chance to view several orchids, especially high altitude miniatures. Turning over a rock or two should reveal the Mountain salamander, which is abundant at this altitude. Also, look for bird species such as the Timberline wren, Volcano junco, Wren thrush, Long-tailed silky flycatcher and Flame-throated warbler, which are endemic to these highlands. The high-altitude oak forest of Finca Chacón is a good opportunity to see quetzals as well. This family-run farm and ecolodge features home-cooked meals, fresh fruit and trout fishing in high mountain streams. The driving time from San José to Cerro de la Muerte is approximately 2 hours.

TA018- GUAYABO ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE :
Guayabo National Monument was established on August 13, 1973 to protect and Conserve one of the most important archeological sites in the country. Due to its location and terrain, Costa Rica contributed greatly to the pre- Colombian diversity of the Americas. Recent research has rendered obsolete the old Spanish-era classification of Chorotegas, Bruncas, and Huetares; now other groups are recognized such as the Malekus, terrabas, cotos, corobicies, and suerres, all of which lived at tha same time. Guayabo is part of the Cultural region called the Central Zone, which stretched from Alajuela( in Costa Rica) to Colombia, Venezuela, and Nothern Ecuador. The site was occupied from about 1000 B.C. to 1400 A.D.

TA019- LOS ANGELES CLOUD FOREST CANOPY TOUR :

Located in one of the most beautiful transitional forest and the only in the Central Pacific Region, the Sky way is a good opportunity for seen wildlife over suspending bridges and also have a Educational hikes with locals guides from this region, Monkeys, Birds, mammals, make you enjoy the secrets of the Pacific Forest. Also you will have the opportunity to see the American Cocodriles in the Tarcoles River and take some pictures. We don't recommend to feet the Cocodriles, so is better don't take any swimming.

TA021- ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS:

Our most popular tour! The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, you will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. Next, we will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. At a convenient time after your arrival, we will treat you to a splendid dinner. This is absolutely an evening you will not want to miss in Costa Rica!
On this tour we will also visit the town of Sarchí, well known for the beauty of the handcrafts that they produce

TA022- CALIPSO CATAMARAN CRUISE:

Sun, sea and super fun on a 100 passenger catamaran cruise in the Gulf of Nicoya to Isla Tortuga. Depart San José early in the morning and travel, via air-conditioned bus, to Puntarenas (approximately 2 1/2 hours). Continental breakfast will be served on the bus, and coffee is served on arrival at the dock.
Designed from passengers' suggestions over the years, the Manta Raya features an underwater viewing window, fresh water shower area and full bar. The spacious main salon opens to an expansive deck area which includes two jacuzzi pools, allowing passengers to cruise in luxury and comfort. Manta Raya's aqua-jet propulsion allows for shorter travel time and more time at the beach or snorkeling. A ramp is attached to the Manta Raya on arrival to the Island, allowing you to disembark directly onto the beach.
The cruise passes seven different islands, including the famous Isla San Lucas, location of the former prison, before passengers disembark on Isla Tortuga. Appetizers are served prior to lunch and a full bar is set up on the island. A freshly prepared, hot lunch is served mid-day with chilled white wine, followed by dessert and coffee. You will board the Manta Raya mid-afternoon for the return cruise to Puntarenas. On arrival at the dock, coffee is served prior to boarding the bus for San José.

Take pleasure from seeing the wonderful view of the Central Valley from a high point while you enjoy a delicious typical buffet. As well, admire an amusing traditional mascarada show followed by pleasant marimba music and cheerful Costa Rican typical dances. Finish the night finding delight in the magic of bright fireworks. Moreover, on Wednesdays, watch how local artisans work in their crafts. Do not miss this wonderful night!

TA026- ARENAL HANDING BRIDGES:
We'll love to invite you all to visit our beautiful facilities near one of the most active volcanoes of the world: The Arenal Volcano, in Costa Rica, Central America.

Into this natural paradise you can go in a great walking trail of three kilometers passing 15 bridges, six of them are hanging bridges with an spectacular design as a secure - enjoyable adventure to see the forest from the ground (as a Jaguar) from the middle (as a Monkey) and from the treetops (as an Eagle)…
One of our hanging bridges is called The Waterfall Bridge and is over 60 meters high up to the ground. Another one is called The Tyra Bridge and is 98 meters long, just to give you an idea.
